EBAY Selling Guide: Designer Handbags

Hiya Everyone!

This is Part 2 of my Ebay Selling Guide Posts! This part is all about handbags! 

When selling handbags on Ebay you must have an authentic bag if it is designer. You cannot sell a knock off on ebay, it is simply not allowed. 

Step 1: Know Your Handbag

Know what brand your handbag is, who made it, how much does it retail for, and if it's vintage, how old is it?

Step 2: Is it real?

When selling a designer handbag this is one if the first questions you want to ask yourself. If you purchased it new it's obvious, if not you might have to do your research and find out the style of bag as well as when it was made. Also some bags have serial numbers inside them. This will come in handy!

Step 3: Take Pictures

I cannot stress it enought about the importance of taking pictures of your handbag you are trying to sell. Also make sure to show all flaws and imperfections. Potential buyers will want to see every inch of the bag including the inside lining and pockets!

Step 4: Pricing Your Handbag

When pricing your handbag you must know what you have and how old it is. Some bags, Louis Vuitton for example go up in value but some do not, example coach always stays relatively the same or decreases in value. 

Be sure not to under sell yourself when selling a handbag but do not overprice yourself either. The potential Buyer will move on to another seller if your price is not fair.
