EBAY Selling Guide: How to Get Products To Sell Online

Hiya Everyone!
This is my third and final installment of my Ebay Selling Guide Series! I hope you enjoy! This selling guide focuses on Promotional Items aka Freebies.

We've all seen promotional items for sale or gift with purchases. Sometimes you buy makeup at Nordstroms and get a limited edition special makeup bag that you only get with that purchase or you get a travel size of an item or a sample size. But a lot of people don't use these items, they sell them.

Pictured above are Two Peter Thomas Roth freebies given out as gifts with purchase when buying skincare! As you can see this seller is selling them as a set for 9.99.

When selling these promotional items be clear in what you are listing. BE SURE TO LIST THE SIZING OF THE PRODUCTS. This is a big one because buyers will come back on you to say the item was falsely advertised. List your product sizing. Like is this a travel size, a sample size, or a full size?

Also be sure to list if it was a limited edition product or if it was specific to one store for example Macy's, Dillard's, or Nordstrom.

EBAY Selling Guide: How To Sell Makeup (Arbonne, Avon, Mac)

Hiya everyone!
I am doing a three part Ebay selling guide series. This is part one, makeup! I hope you enjoy!

Selling makeup on ebay is tricky. If your buying in bulk and reselling you want to know if your products are authentic and not counterfeit and also, were your products limited edition?

To figure this out you may have to do some research on the internet. For example:
This Maybelline Color Tattoo retailed for 5.99 originally in stores but since it was limited edition, the price skyrocketed to 13.99 on Ebay!

Great for the seller, not so much for the consumer. But if you missed out on any of those special limited edition collections, usually you can find them on ebay.

Be careful when buying or selling MAC Cosmetics products because those are the most counterfeited makeup items.

If your selling MAC products be prepared to show many pictures of the product itself and the packaging because experienced buyers will ask about MAC. it's a "Buyer Beware" sort of thing.

All in all if your selling makeup on ebay here is your sellers checklist:

1) know what you have
2) check for limited edition
3) take as many pictures as needed
4) answer all questions accordingly
5) if it's swatched say it's swatched don't say "like new"
