Mini Makeup Haul

Hiya Everybody! I stopped by a discounted store today and they had alot of makeup to pick and sort through. They get their products from stores either going out of business or discontinued or overstocked products. They were extremely discounted and I think I found a few treasures and there is one I was extremely excited about. So lets get into my Mini Haul..

The first thing I picked up that I was happy about was the Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder in translucent. This costs 5.49 at my local Walmart and I paid only 1.99. I have been wanting to try this powder so look out for a review soon!
The next thing was the Wet and Wild Idol Eyes Creme Eyeshadow Pencils, I was suprised to find two of these in the massive bins of makeup they had to choose from. I got them in the shade Distress, which is like a royal blue color, and the shade Techno, which is a beautiful purple color. These were regular price at 99 cents each but I was happy to find them because I cannot find them at any stores around me. These may be discontinued but I am not sure. I swatched them in the car and they are super creamy and pigmented, I love them already.
Next, was the Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner in Brown. I have been looking for a brown eyeliner and I was excited to find it in a gel formula. I am really looking forward to trying this out. Thr original price on this was 7.99 and I paid only .99 cents.
Last but not least were the two nail polishes that I picked up, one from Essie and one from Orly.
The Essie polish I picked up is in the shade Fiji and its a very light baby pink and as soon as I seen it I fell in love.  You can get this for 4.80 on Amazon but I picked it up for .99 cents. This was the only Essie polish in the entire store and I also picked up the only Orly polish in the entire store. You could say I was very excited to pick up this next polish because I have been looking for it FOREVER.
The polish I picked up from Orly is in the shade Gumdrop and it is a very minty green color.  You can get this for 5.65 on Amazon and I almost ordered it yesterday but I am glad I didn't because I picked it up today for 1.99! I hope you enjoyed reading about my mini haul! Thanks for stopping by!

Bumble and Bumble Shampoo and Conditioner

Hiya Everybody! I recieved a sample of Bumble and Bumble Shampoo, Conditioner, and Blow Dry cream in the mail and I used the Shampoo and Conditioner in my shower tonight. I have yet to try the blow dry cream but when I do I will update everyone.

The shampoo is the Bb. Straight Start Smooth Shampoo, I liked this but it wasn't my favorite. It had a very fresh scent and lathered up well in the shower. It wasn't my favorite because of its consistency, it was very glue like when I had it in my hands but that changed once it lathered up. The conditioner is the Bb. Straight Quiet Frizz Conditioner, I am in love with this and I really want to buy this in a full size but the only thing putting me off of Bumble and Bumble products is the price...a small travel size is 5.00, I can buy a large conditioner from another brand for 5.00.  But, I loved this because it did smooth out my frizzies (I have quite a few) and my hair feels very soft now, this didn't have a glue like consistency like the shampoo, this was very creamy and smelled fresh as well. April Favorites

Hiya Everybody! I am here to tell you about my favorite products that I have been using in the month of April. There aren't many so this should be quick. I hope you enjoy!

My first favorite for the month of April is my E.L.F. Makeup Mist and Set! I love this stuff, I have reviewed it before and mentioned it in a few other blogs but its just great. This is available online, at Walmart, and at Target. For just 3.00 this does an amazing job at making my makeup stay on and last all day. Next is my NYM or Not Your Mothers Shes a Tease Volumizing Hairspray. This is infused with apple blossom and bamboo and the smell is to die for. This holds my hair in place all day without making it crunchy or heavy. This is 5.00 at Walmart. I am not sure what other places it is sold because I have only seen it at Walmart. I love the entire NYM line that Walmart carries, everything in the line is 5.00 so its super affordable and you get some amazing products. Next is my NYX 5 Color Eyeshadow Palette from the Caribbean Collection in I Dream of Nevis. These are all neutral eyeshadows and a great white color I like to use as a base. Look out for my everyday neutral eyeshadow routine later on in the week using this palette. I think I paid 8.00 for this at Ulta last summer but I am sure this is still available. When I bought it I never used it but lately I have been in love with it. Next is my Wet and Wild juicy lip balm with SPF 15 in the shade Raspberry. This smells like Raspberries as well and moisturizes my lips so well, I love it. I purchased this at Walgreens for 1.99 about a month and a half ago so I am sure they still have them. Last but not least has to be my favorite out of my monthly favorites, its my GrandeLASH MD Eyelash and Eyebrow Formula. This is supposed to help make your lashes or eyebrows grow. I use this on my upper lashes only and I use it before I go to bed at night. It has a small brush to apply it to the upper lash line. I recieved this as a gift from one of my friends who swears by it and I have always had short lashes and very few lashes but after using this for about 2 months now, I have so many lashes and they're so long. I have gotten compliments on my lashes and some people even thought I was wearing false lashes, this stuff works amazing! You can order this online and it is a bit pricey at 44.00 but it is extremely worth it. I hope you enjoyed my April Favorites, Thanks for reading!

Daily Nails

Hiya Everybody! These are my nails today, on my thumbs there ate pink zebra nail strips from Sally Hansen and on the rest of my fingers is sinful colors nail polish in black. I did these in five minutes running out the door so bare with me if they're messy :) thanks for reading!

Amazing New Band 5L

Hiya Everyone! Just dropping by today to tell everybody about this amazing new band called 5L! They were on the digitour this year already, they have a show May 31st in Allentown, PA and a show June 2nd in Orange County, if you haven't seen them already you should go and check them out.

From left to right the band is Booboo Stewart (guitarist), Davin Baltazar (bassist), Fivel Stewart (Lead Vocals), and Ryan Cook (Drummer). They have one single out on itunes already I will link it below, its called Heart on Fire. They put on a great show, its fantastic.

Suave Professionals Volumizing Root Boost Spray

Hiya Everyone! I am going to tell you about the Suave Professionals Volumizing Root Boost Spray today! I have used this spray on and off for about a month and a half now. I wasn't a fan of it at first but now I love it. I purchased it from Walmart for under 3.00. I was used to using my Big and Sexy Root Boost and I thought that this wouldn't compare but it gives me the same result and alot cheaper. I will insert a picture of it below, theres only one complaint I have about it...the packaging, the product comes out and gets all over my hand. I will deal with it but they could do with some improvement on the packaging. Thanks for reading!

M.A.D. Skincare Delicate Daily Moisturizer

Hiya Everybody! I am here to tell everyone about this amazing moisturizer that I got as a sample. It's the M.A.D. Skincare Delicate Daily Moisturizer. I love this stuff, it's got a lotion consistency and it doesn't make my face oily, it just soaks right into my skin, it's not messy, its perfect. I would be buying the full size but I am not sure where to buy it so if anyone knows please leave it in the comments below. This is a great product and I recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin looking for a great moisturizer! Thanks for reading!

Covergirl Wet Slicks Fruit Spritzers

Hiya Everybody! I just want to tell everyone about my new favorite lip gloss! It's the Covergirl Wet Slicks Fruit Spritzers in the shade Tangerine Splash. This is a shimmery orange colored lip gloss that goes onto your lips very sheer and ends up looking like a light coral color. I am not sure if this is still available everywhere because I picked this up at Rite Aid on clearance for .80 cents. It has a tangerine flavor as well and it is NOT sticky at all! NYX Collection Nior Liquid Black Liner

Hiya Everybody! I picked up the NYX Collection Nior Liquid Black Liner the other day at Ulta for $5.99. This liner is so black and goes on so smoothly, the consistency is perfect not too think but not watery like some liquid liners that I have tried. The shade of the liner I purchased is bel06. This little brush makes the absolute perfect line and the brush is super thin and not bulky, it makes it so much easier to do your makeup. This stays on my eyes so long, I love it! Physicians Formula Happy Booster Powder

Hiya Everybody! I am here to tell you about my absolute all time favorite powder today. It's the Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow and Mood Boosting Powder in the shade Beige. I LOVE this, it stays on all day, it's shimmery but not overly shimmery. The packaging is great and comes with a small little brush in the bottom of the compact. I like to leave the brush in there for when I travel. I have mentioned this powder before in a couple of my monthly favorites! This is wonderful, I have nothing bad to say about this powder. Sula Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow

Hiya Everyone! I stopped in at my local Ulta the other day and picked up 2 Sula Creaseless Cream Eyeshadows in the shades, Holiday in the Sun and Please Don't Tell. I have swatched both of the colors below. I paid 8.00 each for these, which may seem a bit pricey but they are entirely worth it. These are the only CREASELESS eyeshadows that I have ever purchased that actually don't crease!

Holiday in the Sun in the first color and it is pretty much a baby pink. These eyeshadows are very creamy and pigmented. These swatches are one swipe with my finger. Please Don't Tell is the navy blue color and is very pretty. I love both of these colors so much and will go back and be buying more Sula eyeshadows. Thanks for reading!

Daily Nails

Hiya Everybody! Here are my nails today! I used OPI's Start to Finish base coat and top coat with two coats of Jessica Cosmetics Blue Spark and one coat of OPI's White Shatter. I must say that I thought this would turn out better ,it's ok but it's not my favorite polish. I probably won't do this again. Thanks for reading!

Inglot Freedom System 3 Color Eyeshadow Palette

Hiya Everybody! I have to tell everyone about my 3 Color Eyeshadow Palette from Inglot's Freedom System. The Freedom System is where you buy the Inglot Palette, empty of course. I paid 5.00 for my Empty 3 Color Eyeshadow Palette. In the Freedom System you pick your shadows and put them into your palette. I bought my 3 color palette at IMATS, the shadows were 5.00 each as well and since I got a 3 color palette I bought 3 shades.

I love the packaging on the Inglot Palettes, they have magnets on each end of the top that just slides open and magnets shut, its great, I don't have to worry about my eyeshadow opening and getting all over everything if I am traveling. As I said I bought this at IMATS and in the long trip home and an airplane my shadows did break a little as you can see in the picture below but the packaging saved it from covering everything else in my bag.

Even though my eyeshadows broke in the commute, they are still amazing and super pigmented. The shadows do not have names they just have numbers and starting at the top with the yellow color, the colors are: 103R(yellow), 105R(light blue), 110R(Dark Purple/Blue). I have swatched the shadows below. They are VERY pigmented and bright, I had heard amazing things about Inglot Shadows and I was very excited to pick up a few of my own.

These are the Inglot shadows swatched against my hand with one swipe of my finger on the shadow. Very pigmented and great quality. I have worn these colors a couple of times since I purchased them and I have no had any problems with creasing or anything, these are absolutley amazing. If your looking for great eyeshadow, I urge you to check out Inglot. Thanks for reading!

Forever 21 Late Night Shopping

Hiya Everybody! You might all say I am crazy for this but I just placed an order on Forever21.com for one item! I know I know, why not have a bigger order? Theres only one thing I wanted. I ordered the shirt pictured on the model below, it says Pray for Fashion all over it. I paid 15.80 for the shirt, I will link the website below if your interested in it. Overall including shipping the shirt was about 20.00. I fell in love with the shirt and had to have it. Its sheer and is a hi-low top. Tell me what you think about it! Romeo and Juliet Couture, Minnetonka Moccasins, and More

Hiya Everybody! Its me again, I have so much to tell you guys! First off is my new favorite purse that I picked up at Nordstroms from Romeo and Juliet Couture, when I was in Chicago, I bought it on clearance for $25.00 which I think was a steal. I just think its so edgy and adorable but simple at the same time. Its a black leather cross-body bag with chrome gunmetal looking hardware. There is a picture below, I know it doesn't look too large but this fits EVERYTHING that I had in my Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag before with room to spare, so looks can be decieving.

Next, I was at a local store that is only in my town (Sorry I can't say the name) and I picked up a pair of Minnetonka Moccasin Boots in a tan suede leather. They have fringe on them and are so comfortable. I will link the website below and if your interested you can find a store near you that carries them! I got them on sale for $38.00 and they are totally worth it, I think they are one of the best purchases I have ever made. I got mine in a size 8 1/2, I normally wear a size 8 but if your going to get these I would recommend getting a 1/2 size up because the zipper along the back of the shoe will rub your heel if they're too tight.

I know they look simple but I think that I can create so many outfits with these and theyre just so amazingly comfortable, its insane. The link to the website it posted right below~

Hard Candy Meteor Eyes Eyeshadow

Hiya Everybody! I picked up an eyeshadow when I was at Walmart and it is a Hard Candy Meteor Eyes Baked Eyeshadow in the shade Lunar Eclipse. There is a picture and a swatch below, this is a golden brown color with flecks of gold glitter in it. I have worn this color once and have discovered it's super pigmented and stays on my lid and does not crease! If your looking for a great eyeshadow I suggest checking these out at Walmart. Smiths Minted Rose Lip balm

Hiya Everyone! When I was in Chicago I stopped into Sephora while I was doing some shopping and before I checked out I seen this lip balm, I paid 7.00 for it. For 7.00 you get alot of product and it smells heavenly. You could say I am addicted to lip products. I have been using this about two weeks now and it has made my lips so smooth. I usually put it on before I go to bed but sometimes I use it throughout the day as well. I love this stuff and it smells just like the name suggests like a minted rose! Thanks for reading.

These are my must have items for spring, I own alot of these items myself but I also own similar items, as we all know polyvore does not have everything exactly. I chose simlar items, the items listed are what is in the picture but I am saying that my spring must haves are similar but not exact to what is listed. Wet and Wild Coloricon Trio

Hiya everyone! I went to the store today and picked up a few things and while I was there I seen the wet and wild coloricon eyeshadow trios. I have heard alot about these on YouTube so I picked one up. I got the trio in I'm feeling retro, it has a pearly shimmery white, a pretty sky blue, and a light fuschia purple shade. The colors are not as pigmented as they look in the packaging but I am very happy with this trio, I think it will be great for all kinds of eyeshadow looks so be on the lookout for those! My Favorite Blushes

Hiya Everyone! I am going to tell you about my two favorite blushes today! There will be swatches of the two blushes below and pictures as well. The first blush is Maybelline's Dream Bouncy Blush in the shade Plum Wine, it is swatches below on the left side of my hand (the darker swatch). As you can see this is more of a dark pink/ purple blush. I like this blush alot because it is very blendable and very pigmented. I have heard some people say that the Dream Bouncy Blushes aren't pigmented, I cannot vouch for all of them but I can say the Plum Wine shade is extremely pigmented. I purchased this at walmart for 6.99.
My second favorite blush is by Jemma Kidd and is the In Vogue Perfect Blush in the shade Rodeo Drive. I love this blush, I think I like it so much because it comes off as sort of a baby pink tone on my skin. This is not as pigmented as I would like but it does the job and is my go to blush when I am looking for a baby pink color. I purchased this at Target for 19.00 which in my opinion is a bit pricey for a blush but one of my friends had recommended it so I tried it out. I hope I didn't ramble on too much, I used to not wear blush at all but then I found these two products and there's no going back! Thanks for reading!

Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Wash

Hiya Everybody! I went to bath and body works the other day and picked up a few things, I picked up a travel size of the Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Wash and the lotion. This scent is heavenly, it smells fruity and floral at the same time. Simply put...it's perfect. I recommend this to everyone now, it has quickly become one of my favorite bath and body works scents! I am most definitely going back to bath an body works and buying the full size! The travel size costs 5.00 but I got my travel size lotion and body wash for 5.00 together on sale. Drenched In Pink Lotion

Hiya Everyone! I am here today to tell everyone about Victoria's Secret Drenched In Pink Supersoft Body Lotion in the fruity and bright scent! I love this stuff, as the name suggests it is a very fruity scent but has hints of a light floral scent. This makes my skin so smooth! I have been using this when I get out of the shower and I love it! I got this at Victoria's Secret for 12.00 and you get alot of product for that price so I think this is completely worth it! The Worst Nail Polish

Hiya Everybody, I have to tell everyone about the absolute worst nail polish I have ever tried, it the ELF Nail Polish in the shade light pink. I have nothing against ELF, I normally love their products and I have their polishes in other shades.
I don't know if the formulation is different in the light pink or what because it is watery and gross and goes on like a clear coat no matter how many coats of it I put on! I had six coats of this polish on my nail and it looked like I wasn't wearing any polish!
Take this as a warning ELF's light pink is horrible!!!!

Blinc Mascara Review

Hiya Everybody! Well I am blogging from my iPhone now so expect ALOT more posts because I live on my phone. But, I am here to today to tell you about Blinc Mascara.
I have been using this mascara for about a month now, I originally read some reviews for it online and then ordered off of sephora.com to get it. I paid 24.00 for it which is pretty pricey for a mascara in my opinion but, after using this mascara for a month I have to say it is extremely worth it. Their advertising says "Don't paint your lashes, tube them." That is exactly what this mascara does, it tubes your lashes and when you remove your mascara you can see the little tubes come off. This does not smudge. I have nothing bad to say about this except I wish I would have discovered it sooner!
I got my mascara in the shade black. It is extremely long wearing. Also it's very defining and lengthening on top of being waterproof. I have gotten compliments on how long my lashes look now and one person thought I was wearing false lashes! I have never had a problem with my mascara running when I wear this, this is one of those amazing, infallible, never come off til your dead mascaras! Thanks for reading!

New Iphone 4 Case

Hiya Everybody, so I am SUPER excited because I have been on the hunt for awhile for an iphone case that fits me, I've had cases break and I've had cases that just match everyone else, I wanted one that fit my style and my personality. I always have my phone on me, its my only must have accessory so I figured I should dress my phone up. Right now I have a blue silicone case on my iphone until the one I just ordered comes in the mail. A picture of the iphone case I just ordered is below :)

I am very excited to get it because it is pink and it looks like a camera, my phone will be so much more protected than it is now. I beat up my phone because I am pretty clumsy so this might help. I purchased it on eBay for 6.99 with free shipping. That is like an amazing price for an iphone 4 case. Tribal Nail Art Tutorial

Hiya Everybody! I hope everyone is doing well today, I will be doing my first nail art tutorial today, if you like it and would like more tutorials please tell me in the comments below. Today's tutorial is for tribal inspired nail art.
The things you will need are:
A clear nail polish base.
A bright nail polish to use as a base, I suggest yellow,green, or pink (I used a coral color)
A white nail polish or nail striper to make a large stripe on your nail.
A lighter color nail polish to make another large strip on your nail, I suggest one of the colors mentioned above that you did not use as a base.
A black nail art pen or striper, to make fine lines.
A different color nail art pen or striper, to make fine lines ontop of your white polish stripe on your nail.
A top coat, to top it all off.

Also, if you do not have nail pens or stripers, fine paintbrushes from you local dollar store work just as well, you can get them for like ten in a package for a dollar.

Okay, the first thing I did on my nails was apply a clear nail polish base coat, I did not take pictures of the base coat because it is just a base coat, pretty basic if you ask me.

The next thing I did was I got my bright nail polish base, in my case I used Barry M's Nail Paint in Pink Flamingo, its a very coraly pink color. I used two coats of it on all of my nails as pictured below.

Next, after my nails had dried I used Orly's Soft White nail polish, but any white polish can be used, and I made large stripes on each of my nails, alternating as I went as you can see.

After the large white stripes on each of my nails had dried I took Nicole by OPI's My Lifesaver from the Justin Bieber collection and made large blue stripes the same way, alternating as I went.

Once the white and blue stripes were completely dry, I took my nail art pen that I chose to use (any color you see fit will do) and I made a stripe under the white on each nail and made polkadots in a line on the white stripes to start my tribal inspired design.

Here is a close up of that last step.

The next step in this nail art design is to take your back nail art pen or black nail polish and I made lines on the edge of the blue stripe and then made alternating diagonal lines on each nail. This finished off the tribal design as you can see in the picture below, the last and final step after your nail art has dried is to apply a top coat. But, please make sure your nail art is dry before or it will smudge, and please excuse my messy paint job, I tend to get polish everywhere...oops.

Sonia Kashuk Lipstick

Hiya Everybody!!! Well I went to Target a couple days ago to pick up a few things and while I was there I picked up two Sonia Kashuk Luxury lipcolors. I picked them up in the shades Truffle and Coraline. I have pictures and swatches below, Truffle is a midtone brown color that looks like a baby pink has been mixed in to give it a softer tone. Truffle kind of reminds me of a milk chocolate color. Coraline is just as the name suggests a perfect spring/ summer pink coral colored lipstick. I fell in love with the Coraline lipstick as soon as I seen it and I couldnt wait to get home and swatch them for you guys.
These have an amazing scent to them as well, they smell very sugary and sweet and I love that because for some reason I seem to think most lipsticks smell like plastic. But, I paid 8.99 each for these and I already love them, so if your looking for a coral pink lipstick for the spring/summer I highly recommend the Sonia Kashuk Luxury Lipcolor in the shade Coraline. In the swatches on the left is Truffle and on the right is Coraline. I am actually wearing the Coraline color on my lips today. I have only ever seen Sonia Kashuk products at Target so I believe it is a Target Exclusive brand. Thanks for reading and please check out the swatches below!

Madden Girl by Steve Madden Heels

Hiya everybody! I'm here to tell everyone about my heels that my friend helped me pick out while I was in Chicago! I wore these once while I was there and I haven't worn them since but I plan on wearing them more. They are hornett heels from Madden Girl by Steve Madden in a taupe suede color. They were originally 54.00 but I got them on sale for 11.60. My friend that was with me got the same pair in a different size, we both fell in love with them. I got mine in a size 8 and I usually wear a 9 but these fit perfectly, I guess it depends on the shoe.
They have a three inch heel which I am surely not used to, I am more of a flats kind of girl but once I got the hang of them they were fine and very comfortable. The heels themselves are pretty basic nothing flashy but I think they can dress up any outfit! Thanks for reading!
