No Heat Beachy Summer Waves aka Lazy Girl Beachy Waves

Hiya Everyone! I've always loved the look of beachy waves, not only in the summer but year round! I hated the heat on my hair and all work I had to put into them! I have discovered the "lazy girl" way for No Heat Beachy Summer Waves aka Lazy Girl Beachy Waves!

 

Its SUPER Simple! The whole process takes a few minutes! You need 2 things, NYM Beach Babe Sea Salt Texturizing Spray, this is what I use so I recommend it because I know it works but I am aware that there are other sea salt sprays out there but in my opinion this one works best and is the cheapest on the market! This also comes in a texturizing cream and is available at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Ulta, Urban Outfitters, and Online!

You will also need hair clips that clip all of your hair up into a bun  or a loose pony tail. I use the Scrunci No Slip Grip Clips. I have very thick hair and these clip my hair up without any hair ties and they hold it! I got mine at Walmart but I have seen them at Target, Walgreens, and CVS as well.

 

 

To get No Heat Beachy Waves all you need to do is thoroughly spray the NYM Beach Babe spray all over your hair, it smells amazing and does what it promises. Next you just take all of your hair and twist it into a top knot, bun, or loose pony tail! You can do this with wet or dry hair. I do mine with dry hair and leave the top knot/bun/pony tail in for 30 minutes to an hour but you could leave it up longer if you would like. If you do this with your hair wet, wait until your hair has dried before you take it down. Once you take your hair down, enjoy your "Lazy Girl" Beachy Summer Waves!

I have three go to lip essentials for summer. One of them is my Ocean Potion Moisturizing Lip Potion which I already have a review and info on in the post below this! But, again this chapstick is amazing and leaves my lips so soft! Next is my Alba Pineapple Quench Lip Balm, I have been using this lip balm for a LONG time. Next is my Physician's Formula Organic Wear Mascara, the green tube. I love this mascara, it looks very natural on my lashes, perfect for summer. It separates and lengthens my lashes but not dramatically and it doesn't clump up! I can do 3 or 4 coats on my lashes and not get ANY clumps! It doesn't flake or smudge, its just absolutely perfect especially for a drugstore mascara!

One of my favorite things which is NEW this summer but I have already used several times is the Coppertone Tattoo GUARD Sunscreen Stick. I have several tattoos on my legs, feet, and hands and I was always told to put baby sunscreen on them because it protects more and isn't harsh on my tattoos. I was never good at remembering that but then Coppertone came out with the Tattoo GUARD and having a certain product just for my tattoos is nice. This protects my tattoos, its fantastic. I don't have to worry about my tattoos getting sunburnt and losing color, they're safe and look great! This is available at Walmart, Target, CVS, and Walgreens as far as I know. This comes in the stick form which I have pictured which is great for smaller tattoos or leg and arm tattoos but they also make a lotion form of the tattoo GUARD.

Another Sunscreen Product that I use for everything that isn't my tattoos is the Ocean Potion SPF 50 Dab-On Stick. Ocean Potion makes great products, I am obsessed with them. I have never been sunburnt while wearing this sunscreen, it doesn't smell horrible like some sunscreens I have tried and its great to just put in your purse and you have it in emergencies. Like the name says its just a dab-on sunscreen stick, no mess, no fuss. Its so easy to use and is also a Matte Finish so great to use under your makeup!

I have included a brown eyeliner in my Summer Beauty Essentials, eyeliner all depends on your personal preference. I love to wear brown eyeliner in the summer, its not as harsh and looks more natural. I so prefer a waterproof eyeliner in the summer because you do sweat and you don't want your makeup to run plus you never know when your going to go swimming!

Next is my Yes to Grapefruit Dark Spot Correcting Serum. I have dark spots on my face and in the summer they come out more with sunburns and tanning. This helps them fade quickly. This also works for acne scarring and hyperpigmentation. It easily absorbs into your skin and smells very good! A little goes a long way with this product!

I put a hand sanitizer into my Summer Beauty Essentials because in the summer we all go places and do fun things where there are a lot of other people and germs are everywhere! Its always good to have one in your purse or beach bag. The hand sanitizer pictured is Coconut Cove from Bath and Body Works.

 

Last but not least is my go to Summer Moisturizer! This is the Clean Scene Begging for Balance Moisturizer from Murad. This is from their teen skin care line. This doesn't make my face oily, it soaks into my skin quickly. This moisturizer is oil free and leaves my skin smooth but not shiny!

Not Your Mothers Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray

Hey Everyone you in Internet land, back again woohoo! This time just I share one of my favorite hair products of all time with all of you lovely people! I received this complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes but I had purchased and repurchased this product many times before. I have been using the Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray for over a year and it is one of the best hair products that I have ever used. It has a wonderful beachy coconut boardwalk smell to it, for some reason it reminds me of the New Jersey boardwalk in the summer and trust me that's not a bad thing. It leaves my hair wavy and beachy after a few sprays and does not weigh my hair down at all! I highly recommend this to anyone who is trying to get that beachy waves look without a ton of work!

NYM Girl Powder Volumizing Hair Powder

Hiya Everyone! I am here today to tell everyone real quickly about a product I picked up at Walmart last week for 4.74.  Its NYM's Girl Powder Volumizing Hair Powder. I tried this out the day I got it and have been using it almost everyday since. This stuff is flippin amazing! This makes my hair have so much more volume than it did before. April Favorites

Hiya Everybody! I am here to tell you about my favorite products that I have been using in the month of April. There aren't many so this should be quick. I hope you enjoy!

My first favorite for the month of April is my E.L.F. Makeup Mist and Set! I love this stuff, I have reviewed it before and mentioned it in a few other blogs but its just great. This is available online, at Walmart, and at Target. For just 3.00 this does an amazing job at making my makeup stay on and last all day. Next is my NYM or Not Your Mothers Shes a Tease Volumizing Hairspray. This is infused with apple blossom and bamboo and the smell is to die for. This holds my hair in place all day without making it crunchy or heavy. This is 5.00 at Walmart. I am not sure what other places it is sold because I have only seen it at Walmart. I love the entire NYM line that Walmart carries, everything in the line is 5.00 so its super affordable and you get some amazing products. Next is my NYX 5 Color Eyeshadow Palette from the Caribbean Collection in I Dream of Nevis. These are all neutral eyeshadows and a great white color I like to use as a base. Look out for my everyday neutral eyeshadow routine later on in the week using this palette. I think I paid 8.00 for this at Ulta last summer but I am sure this is still available. When I bought it I never used it but lately I have been in love with it. Next is my Wet and Wild juicy lip balm with SPF 15 in the shade Raspberry. This smells like Raspberries as well and moisturizes my lips so well, I love it. I purchased this at Walgreens for 1.99 about a month and a half ago so I am sure they still have them. Last but not least has to be my favorite out of my monthly favorites, its my GrandeLASH MD Eyelash and Eyebrow Formula. This is supposed to help make your lashes or eyebrows grow. I use this on my upper lashes only and I use it before I go to bed at night. It has a small brush to apply it to the upper lash line. I recieved this as a gift from one of my friends who swears by it and I have always had short lashes and very few lashes but after using this for about 2 months now, I have so many lashes and they're so long. I have gotten compliments on my lashes and some people even thought I was wearing false lashes, this stuff works amazing! You can order this online and it is a bit pricey at 44.00 but it is extremely worth it. I hope you enjoyed my April Favorites, Thanks for reading!
