KISS Instawave Automatic Hair Curler Review

Hiya Everyone!
I'm here to talk about the KISS Instawave automatic hair curler. This is a strange device because it's not a curling iron and it's not a curling wand. I recieved this from KISS Products and Brandbacker to try out and you can see the demo video on my YouTube channel as well and don't forget to subscribe! Http://YouTube.com/user/lipglossandconverse

I tried this contraption out, it has a bit of a learning curve when you first use it so take a few minutes to actually learn what your doing or you'll just be a hot mess. I have very long thick hair and I only turned it up to the low hear setting to get my curls pictured below. I also used the Got2b Guardian Angel heat protectant spray before curling my hair but I didn't use any hair spray!

For my hair being hard to curl, this did a great job! I hope you enjoyed this quick blog post! If you have any questions, comments, or YouTube video requests leave them in the comments below! Thanks!

Organix Pomegranate Green Tea Shampoo and Conditioner

Hiya Everyone!
Today I am reviewing the Organix Pomegranate Green Tea Shampoo and Conditioner. I was looking for a new shampoo and conditioner when I came across this one at Walgreens. It smells amazing which is what instantly sold me but its also sulfate free which I wanted. So...I bought them and came home and used them, I have been using them for a couple of months now. It smells amazing like I said, It suds up in the shower very well and it gets my hair very clean. The only real problem with this is that it really dries out my hair. I need more moisture in my hair if anything so I do not need a shampoo and conditioner drying out my hair. I love the brand and have tried other things so I think I will try out the coconut milk shampoo and conditioner next but I will not be buying this one again just because of the drying effect. I love the packaging on these as well but I feel like for the price you are getting LESS product than if you bought a different shampoo. These are available at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, and Ulta.
Thanks for reading!

The Air Curler....Does it really work?

Hiya Everyone!
Well here to tell everyone about this weird gadget called the air curler. I was skeptical at first at if it would work or not. I have very thick hair and it is VERY hard to curl...lets just say my hope were not high for this product.

As the directions with the air curler say, small sections of damp hair into the hair vortex aka the hair bucket. Your supposed to use the hair dryer to dry your hair for 10-15 seconds and then press the cool button on your hair dryer..NO! If you do that your hair doesn't get dry, use the air curler until your hair dries and then use the cool button. Also prior to using the air curler I would recommend spraying some detangler into your hair so that when you are finished you don't have a tangle mess when you brush it out.

Contrary to popular belief the air curler does actually work and doesn't make your hair a rats nest! I have long thick hair and it curled my hair into lose curls which I brushed out into waves, I love it! If you had shorter hair the air curler would give you Shirley temple like waves! I used this on someone with thinner hair as well and I must say it works best on thicker hair but if you sprayed a little hairspray after each curl it would give the same result.

The air curler could easily become one of my new favorite hair tools. Usually it takes over an hour to curl all of my hair, with the air curler it took about 15 minutes! Overall great product/hair tool! Highly recommend!

No Heat Beachy Summer Waves aka Lazy Girl Beachy Waves

Hiya Everyone! I've always loved the look of beachy waves, not only in the summer but year round! I hated the heat on my hair and all work I had to put into them! I have discovered the "lazy girl" way for No Heat Beachy Summer Waves aka Lazy Girl Beachy Waves!

Its SUPER Simple! The whole process takes a few minutes! You need 2 things, NYM Beach Babe Sea Salt Texturizing Spray, this is what I use so I recommend it because I know it works but I am aware that there are other sea salt sprays out there but in my opinion this one works best and is the cheapest on the market! This also comes in a texturizing cream and is available at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Ulta, Urban Outfitters, and Online!

You will also need hair clips that clip all of your hair up into a bun  or a loose pony tail. I use the Scrunci No Slip Grip Clips. I have very thick hair and these clip my hair up without any hair ties and they hold it! I got mine at Walmart but I have seen them at Target, Walgreens, and CVS as well.

To get No Heat Beachy Waves all you need to do is thoroughly spray the NYM Beach Babe spray all over your hair, it smells amazing and does what it promises. Next you just take all of your hair and twist it into a top knot, bun, or loose pony tail! You can do this with wet or dry hair. I do mine with dry hair and leave the top knot/bun/pony tail in for 30 minutes to an hour but you could leave it up longer if you would like. If you do this with your hair wet, wait until your hair has dried before you take it down. Once you take your hair down, enjoy your "Lazy Girl" Beachy Summer Waves!
